The website is owned and operated by Janus Lee. It is a online art portfolio where you can browse all works completed by Janus Lee. You can also purchase items that are handmade by me. (“By Janus”, “me” or “I”)

By Janus offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. 

By visiting my site and/ or purchasing something from By Janus, you engage in “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including the return/ refund policies. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. 

The customer agrees not to attempt to change, add to, remove, deface, hack or otherwise interfere with this website or any material or content displayed on this website.

Online store terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you may not use my products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). 

All contents of the website, including text, artworks and photos are under my property and cannot be reproduced for other purposes.

Online purchases

The buyer may order products by selecting and submitting the order through the site in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Any order placed through this site for a product is an offer by the buyer to purchase the particular product for the price notified (including the delivery and other charges and taxes if applicable) at the time you place the order. A change of mind will not be accepted for refunds, returns of goods or exchanges unless faulty.

I may ask you to provide additional details or require you to confirm your details to enable me to process any orders placed through the site.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate details when asked to do so by the site. In failing to do so, By Janus reserves the right to refuse the purchase to anyone at any time.

Modification and charges

Prices for my products are subject to change without notice. 
I reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. I shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. 

All fees and charges identified in these terms and conditions and all prices for the products are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and includes GST where applicable. I am not responsible for any extra custom or delivery charges collected after the purchase has been dispatched from my end.

The purchase price of each product is shown on the product list on the site at the time you place your order. The purchase price of a product on the site may not be the same or correspond to the prices elsewhere and By Janus is not obliged to match any prices.

Payment method

All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a globally renowned online payment service.

If I am unable to successfully process your credit card payment for your order that is accepted by us, then I may cancel your order.

All transactions will be charged in NZD.

By Janus does not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of my Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

By Janus does not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be one hundred percent accurate, i.e appearance of product colours affected by your viewing device. 

In no case shall By Janus be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the Service or any products procured using the Service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the Service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the Service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service.
